FROM SCOTLAND TO GREECE, NO JUSTICE PEACE

On February, 12, the non-elected Greek Government adopted a new austerity plan, approved by 199 members of the Greek parliament. This is a measure that forces people into outmost misery for the sake of saving European banks and capital. And yet, 1.000.000 people have protested in a fight against the measures imposed by the EU, the European Central Bank and the IMF which leading the working class to enslavement by international  bankers.

Police forces showed their brutality once again, with unprovoked attacks and arrests of the demonstrators. Once again the Media played along government directives by keeping a complicit silence on the huge demonstration and the heavy-handed police intervention.

The 22% cut on the minimum wage (480 euros – 435 for young people), reduction on pensions, the abolishment of collective bargaining, privatization of the public sector (including health-care and education) are only some indications of what awaits Greek people in the near future.

The so-called “rescue” plan for Greece consists of 130 billion euros, provided by European tax -payers, not for the benefit of the people but in order to minimize once again the losses of European banks and preserve the dictatorship of the capital.

Greece is only the beginning. All these measures will soon be internationalized across Europe. The fighting people of Greece call for our support and solidarity.

Let us stand united AGAINST austerity measures, AGAINST repression, AGAINST the dictatorship of bankers.

Capitalism is not our future, we should fight for a system based on our social needs.

WE ARE ALL GREEKS!

WHEN THEY SAY CUTBACK, WE SAY FIGHT BACK!
